This autumn has brought us a fantastic event. The opening of a new shop in Andorra La Vella by Pyreness Andorra. Ofelia home&decor opens its doors to the decoration world and its lifestyle concept, in the Andorran capital, with a new shop of about 650 m2 aimed to create a home.

Whether you haven't had the chance to visit us yet, or if our new location is a bit far away, we would like to bring you closer to this new space and share with you the design and creativity of this new adventure. As you know, we are as concerned about the process as we are about the result!

This shop represents a small evolution in Ofelia's aesthetics, always preserving our style, but also adapting to the natural surroundings, the mountains. Therefore, both colours and materials have this spectacular scenery as a base reference. For this reason, our interior design team has chosen a slightly darker colour palette for the Andorra shop, which reminds us of huts, with the idea of creating a space that could be synonymous with "refuge". The idea is to bring to our new shop the same feeling you get when you "observe the cold weather outside through the window, while holding a hot cup of tea". To re-create the spirit of mountain settings, while keeping our slow life concept.

This chromatic trend leads to a major use of grey and black tones, the combination of dark woods, warm lights, and textiles, as well as more rustic fibres and finishes. There are also areas covered with tiles from the Francisco Segarra's collection FS by Peronda. One of our shops' hallmarks is to preserve some of the finishes already used in their previous locations. The idea of respecting the history of the place, its original architecture, allows us to connect with the existing natural space, which means that each project is defined by the former life that the same place has had. This defining element marks the distinctive character of Ofelia home&decor and is the common link between all our shops. Although they are all singular, their style is unique and distinctive in each of our locations: Barquillo, 33, in Madrid; O'Donnell, 1, in Castellón; and Carrer les Canals, 4, in Andorra La Vella.

Its layout is aimed to create a passageway that gives rise to an experience through small independent ambiences, separated by structures such as greenhouses, shutters…; antique elements such as grilles, doors, beams... and decorative curtains.

Light is also a key element. The tone, the intensity, the combination of technical lighting with decorative lighting, backlit surfaces as well as furniture elements with interior lighting... all these give a special touch and help to create the warm atmosphere we wanted.

The distinguishing feature of this shop is its size. In this regard, it was a challenge to recreate the same warmth of atmosphere as in our other shops, which are smaller and therefore create a more intimate ambience. As an advantage, we can display many of our catalogue's larger items. For this reason, we can affirm, with no exaggeration, that Ofelia's shop in Andorra is the one that contains the largest amount of furniture, thanks to its size and its two floors distribution.

On the lower floor there is a counter area, the kitchen-dining room, where you can find articles related to kitchenware, cutlery, glassware..., and the garden, where you can find flowers, outdoor furniture such as benches, flowerpots...

The first floor, meanwhile, is the bedroom with carpets, decoration, main and auxiliary furniture, and a larger selection of textiles.

Would you like to see more? We are waiting for you in Andorra La Vella, Carrer les Canals, 4. to live the Ofelia experience in first person in one of the largest decoration shops in Andorra.
