There's nothing I like most than changing my opinion. I didn't visit Ibiza for years, frightened by the idea of finding a noisy, partying, and unbridled luxury-oriented place.
I want to spend most of my free time in places according to my vision, respectful to nature and where I feel removed from the daily grind.
Now, returning to my favourite place, in Madrid, and still trying to get back to my routine, I can assure you that I was wrong, there is a place in " La Isla Bonita" that embodies everything I've been looking for: La Granja Ibiza.

Made by Friends of a Farmer, this spectacular alternative hotel, which arises within a pine forest in San Mateu, offers the opportunity to enjoy a rural and peaceful experience.

For members only, the amazing decor, a mix of rustic Mediterranean and Japanese wabi-sabi, moves you from reality to the most natural and genuine.
In accordance with Japanese philosophy principles, all the interior, designed by Armin Fischerse, is decorated with natural materials, warm colours, and antique furniture. In every corner of the space, you can appreciate the passing of time, the respect for transformation and the search for the elegance of imperfection.

On the same land where the hotel is located, the farmer Andy Szymanowicz grows many varieties of organic vegetables and together with the chef José Catrimán offers a slow food menu mixing the results of organic farming with local fish.

If you are still not completely convinced that La Granja is the perfect place, I would also add that they organise workshops on Yoga, Mindfulness and conferences on sustainable themes.
