This is what living the Mediterranean is like from your own terrace

Summer has that unique way of gently embracing us. It arrives quietly, almost unnoticed, yet suddenly changes everything. The light turns golden, time slows down, and outdoor spaces become havens where life is savoured without hurry. Today, I want to share with you one of those special corners that inspire me so much: a small terrace by the sea, where every piece has been chosen with care, intention, and love. 

When I imagine a spot by the Mediterranean, I think of organic materials, textures inspired by nature, and outdoor furniture that accompanies our daily lives with authenticity and simplicity. This space is a tribute to that way of living, more mindful, freer, and own. 

It’s a place to breathe, reconnect, and above all, unwind. Every element and detail have been chosen to remind us that life is best enjoyed when we are surrounded by things that make us feel good. Wicker furniture, handcrafted finishes, nature... There’s no rush here, you can close your eyes and let the world keep turning. 

By the sea, under the generous sun, an outdoor daybed offers me the calm we all long for. With some cotton cushions and a good book, it becomes the perfect spot to let the sound of the sea helps me to sleep. 

Sunlight filters through the fringed of the parasol, casting dancing shadows across my skin. Its canvas lets in just enough light to make every moment feel like a gift. And just like that, I find myself lost in thought. 

The side table, which usually in a corner of my living room, has found a new purpose today. Today, I’m using it on the terrace with the simple goal of keeping a jug of cold water within reach. 

Even the baskets aren’t tied to a single role. A home, they have more functions depending on the day and need. They have held blankets in winter, magazines by the sofa, even towels in the bathroom. But today, they have taken on a new life. Their blue striped are perfect for a Mediterranean nook, so I turned them into planters. 

I wanted to share this special corner with you. A place where life feels fuller, lighter, and more real. If you dream of your own Mediterranean-style terrace, I will say you do not need much.
