If you are like me, you probably have a mug in your hands as you read this article. I don't know if you have noticed, holding a hot cup generates pleasant feelings. I always associate it with moments of enjoyment whether alone or in company. The morning coffee in complete silence while looking out the window; the mid-afternoon tea reading my favourite book; and that conversation after the family Sunday lunch.... Being part of my routine, it is my most loyal companion, because it is present both in some of my most relaxing moments and when I have to finish a project late at night. That's why, when I have a cup of tea or coffee, I don't drink it in just any cup because it tastes better in a nice mug, don't you think? I'm sure now you understand why this piece of kitchenware is one of my favourites.

One of the first things I consider when choosing my coffee mug is its material. Ceramic is one of my favourites because it preserves the temperature and, moreover, it can be used to create very original designs. You can find several models of handmade ceramic mugs in my collections, which gives them an extra touch of personality as they are not completely identical.

If you are also looking to use them outdoors, enamelled steel mugs are a very good option as they are very resistant. They can withstand high temperatures and are non-porous, so they do not retain odours and flavours of the liquids previously served in them. Their finish gives them a very interesting and attractive vintage touch due to their evocative design and character. You can enjoy a wide variety of enamel mugs to suit all tastes.
