Ofelia Castellón: the perfect plan to start the year

When I thought about opening a new space in Castellón, it was clear that I wanted it to be a special place, where people who visited me could feel the Ofelia experience in the first person. For this reason, although it was opened as a concept store three years ago, it was renewed a year ago to become a charming coffee shop in Castellón. A very cozy coffee place where time stops. If you don’t know it yet, a visit can be a good new year’s purpose, where you can share a snack or brunch. If you have already been, it is the perfect place to make a stop and take a break from the daily hustle and bustle and, why not, buy a treat for your home.

You know I have a particular interest in showing you original places, or as I call them Ofelia’s Place. Therefore, when I had the possibility to design my own coffee shop in Castellón, my idea was to create a reference place in the city that saw me born. My greatest desire was to build a very pleasant space full of inspiration and character to unleash your creativity. A place to enjoy a good coffee or infusion, where you feel at home, and the best, being decorated with items from my catalogue, with the option to shop those objects you like and take them home.

My exquisite gastronomic offer merges with the originality of a concept store, becoming a very special place to enjoy unforgettable moments. From the moment you walk through the entrance, you immerse yourself in a universe of details, which I have carefully selected, in which to live a different experience. 

The coffee shop has four indoor areas and a small outdoor terrace, each with its own charm and personality. Upon entering, you are greeted by vintage-style windows that flood the place with a very pleasant natural light. Woodand wrought iron tables invite you to take a seat and enjoy the extremely cozy atmosphere. The second area transports you to a charming nook surrounded by showcases full of beauties. Tableware, handmade ceramic plates, preserved and artificial flowers full of colour, as well as baskets, decorative objects... make this area a place to get lost in the beauty and acquire some special object. If you are thinking of a meeting with friends or some celebration, this area is chaired by a large table, so it is perfect for these occasions.

If you enter a little further, you reach the heart of the coffee place, the bar counter, where you will find fresh products brought directly from the bakery and the jewel in the crown, La Marzocco, a coffee maker unique throughout Castellón. This professional high-end espresso machine guarantees the exceptional taste of the 100% Arabica specialty we serve. Toasts and artisanal pastries are a great accompaniment to start the day or have a brteak in the middle of the afternoon, while focaccias, salads and toasts become delicious options for lunch.  
 
Finally, you access the most intimate area, where a communal table and some cozy armchairs are waiting for you, ideal for confidences with friends who have not seen for a long time. As you can see, each corner is carefully designed for you to enjoy an exceptional moment, where you will not only satisfy your palate. Ofelia Castellón is a charming place where you can immerse yourself in a world full of creativity and give free rein to your imagination to decorate your home.
