Renew your tableware with Barbate ceramic plates

It is quite common to have a favourite dinnerware collection. It can be the one we use in our day to day, or the one we reserve for great celebrations... But it is always the one we find special for some reason. For me, the Karma crockery from my tableware collection is the most complete and versatile, so I use it on countless occasions. Its design is simple, but also very original; it is made of high-quality ceramic, and I love how it enhances a table decoration.

This collection has helped me in many lunches and dinners, so I could not miss the opportunity to create a more artistic line of ceramic plates within it. This is the Barbate series, and we could say it’s the Karma model inspired by the marine world. Since I have it, I feel more encouraged to play with the variety of drawings it offers, so I can still enjoy the exclusivity of some artisan plates, but also the uniqueness of their hand-painted drawings.

The Barbate line has been created thinking about more utility. You know that I love all the pieces of tableware, but I must admit that flat plates are the most used. They are thickened ceramic plates and bowls, which makes them very resistant. Each piece is enamelled in matt ivory, with a mottled rust effect, unique feature of the Karma collection. The border and the illustration are hand-painted in blue, creating a visual contrast, which I find charming. The drawings? They are inspired by the marine world and are born from simple but full of personality strokes.
