You who know me, also know my passion for decoration. It is something that, in some way, has always accompanied me, and that over the years I have been outlining. In addition, thanks to my curiosity, my desire to innovate and my taste for small details, one day I discovered that I felt something special whenever I had to decorate a table. Since then and until today, I can say I love organizing lunches and dinners at home. I try to think about my guests before deciding which plates I will use, and which decorative accessories will look best on my table decoration. And you know what? I like making all these preparations, whether it's a sophisticated evening or an informal meal.

Being a good hostess is not an easy task, but I, as a good observant, have tried to learn from the people who inspire me and try to be so whenever I have the chance. With this and my good judgment, the truth is that I have managed to develop my own style that is felt in the collections of tableware items that I want you to know, and in all the accessories, both textile and decorative, that I like using.

I've also awakened my culinary side, and, believe me, you don’t have to be a great cook: there are some quick and easy to make dishes with which you can delight your diners. They are the ones I usually cook when I receive my friends and they are the ones that look best in my enamel plates.

The art of dressing a table is ephemeral, and it can encourage our creativity, because with just a few changes we can completely change its decoration and convey different ideas. The tableware we choose will be our means of communication with our guests, and the crockery, among all the elements, will be the starting point. You should choose plates, bowls and platters that make your cooking creations shine, even if they are simple, because everything tastes better with a good plating.

In those less formal occasions, I always flee from pomposity and leave the door open to more daring and colourful compositions, I opt for Guatapé and Colmar enamel plates. With them I get that touch of freshness and originality I look for, especially, in those gatherings. They are the typical enamel dinnerware, made of steel and covered with glazed enamel, but these are modernized through cheerful brushstrokes of colour. Both collections have been customized exclusively for my brand, OFELIA Home & Decor, in an artisan workshop in Benicàssim, and they attract attention for being so traditional and innovative at the same time.

On a white background, stripes, paintings and flowers bring personality to the design and the table; and how could it be otherwise, the coloured edge preserves that vintage air I almost never can do without. They are lightweight, resistant and durable plates. What more could you ask for!

The latest trends in table decoration point towards an eclecticism that fits me perfectly when I want to avoid all conventionalism. Therefore, I prefer the combination of these two enamel steel plate sets, glasses with wicker cover, natural fiber accessories and cotton textiles. A fusion of materials of different kinds, and an explosion of colour that is born from the boldest designs and that succumbs to the flavour of delicacies.

As you can see, every detail counts, both to make a good first impression and to continue surprising those who already know you. What's more, it may be more difficult to maintain that surprise effect on your diners when they already know your tastes and preferences. But, even so, I am still excited by the idea of setting the table. I want to do it with the same exclusivity with which I choose all my collections and I invite you to discover my category tableware so that you also find your style and can convey it through your own decorations.
