The union between homeware and decoration is always useful for both sides. With this premise, to and with personality, Ofelia home&decor has opened its recently reformed Madrid shop in Calle Barquillo with a bustling welcome in the first week of its opening.

Close to Gran Vía, the establishment is located in an old building with a clear architectural personality.

Barquillo 33 is one of the most attractive spots in Madrid's Chueca district. A shop window measuring 6 linear metres and four metres in height seems sufficient reason to attract the attention of people passing through the shopping street. That is the objective of Ofelia, the furniture and decoration concept store that has chosen this privileged space to house its first emblematic shop at street level in the capital, open to the public since 15 December. Until now, the brand had several shops in different locations in Spain. Now it continues its commitment to locations in the heart of large cities with its premiere in this establishment of more than 150 square metres on 2 levels, sales area and showroom.

Ofelia Home Decor is known for its wide range of furniture, homeware and decorative objects at accessible prices. The brand offers tableware, tables, sofas and lamps that follow the main interior design trends and have a wide range of styles influenced by the houses that can be found all over the world. Headed by Camilla Fontanella, the company, which aims to position itself as a benchmark in decoration and a source of inspiration for its customers beyond sales, boasts eclectic and varied proposals and its own design department that assesses its buyers. The new Madrid shop has a decoration workshop, a space that brings together all the brand's styles and where they promise to help their customers find the right formula for decorating any space in the home, from the bedroom to the living room, including the kitchen.

These spaces are inspired by "the lifestyle and people of the city's emblematic neighbourhoods such as Chueca, Malasaña, Salamanca and the Madrid of the Austrias", according to the brand, and although they are smaller, they are much more accessible to those who live in central areas than the large spaces in the suburbs.

So that you can enjoy the Ofelia experience every second, the firm will be setting up a space at Casa Decor, from 24 January to 10 March, an opportunity to discover some of the new items designed by Francisco Segarra.
